FAQ

What is the standard voltage input for the inverters supplied by SEAT? Answer: 230V single phase with three phase output

Can I use a voltage speed control to change fan speed?
Answer: No, you will damage the motor over time and void the warranty. Use a frequency inverter with a three phase motor. Single phase motors are not compatible with inverter.

What is the maximum operating temperature of your PP fans?
Answer: about 80°C but this can change depending on conditions such as rpm

What information should I supply at the time of placing a fan order?
Answer: We need to know: fan model type and/or reference number, rpm, discharge position, voltage/phase, airflow/pressure requirement and accessories (Example: 2 units SEAT 25, ref# 51252000, 1400rpm, LG90, 230V, three phase, 1000m3/h @ 380Pa with metal stand)

Do you systematically supply each fan with a stand?
Answer: No, it depends on your installation requirements. Metal stand is ideal for indoor use while the enclosed PP pedestal is suitable for outdoor application.

What information do I need to place an order for an airflow monitor?
Answer: Model type, orientation, color & options (Example: Airflow monitor type A LED version, vertical with surface box mounting)
